Crawling data from the world's biggest platforms

The unified social media scraping API for developers

Fast, consistent, and ready for agents: three reasons teams use SocialQuery instead of maintaining a pile of scrapers.

Built-in universal search

Run one query across public posts, profiles, reviews, app stores, search results, and research sources without building a routing layer.

Try Universal Search

Unified schema, every platform

Responses come back with the same envelope for author, engagement, content, pagination, metadata, and computed fields.

Agent-ready by design

Integration guides, OpenAPI, llms.txt, typed examples, retries, cache notes, and credit costs are generated from one catalog.

Brand monitoring, sentiment analysis, trend detection, competitive intel — all from one query against 68 platforms.

Brand monitoring

See every mention, the moment it lands

Track your brand, products, execs, and campaigns across all 68 platforms in real time. Stream new mentions to a webhook, or pull them in batches on a schedule.

Trend detection

Catch the topic before the algorithm does

Surface emerging conversations in your space before they hit the mainstream feed. Spike alerts, velocity scores, related-topic graphs - out of the box.

Competitive intelligence

Watch competitors across every public surface

What competitors ship, who they hire, what their customers say. Pull profiles, posts, and comments side-by-side and feed them straight into your analyst workflow.

Can I try SocialQuery for free?
Yes. New accounts receive 100 credits, with no card required. Use them to try available endpoints and inspect real responses.
What does a request cost?
Each endpoint lists its credit cost before you run it. Response metadata reports credits used. Failed provider requests are refunded automatically.
Are all endpoints available?
The catalog documents 646 endpoints across 68 platforms. Live coverage is being rolled out during the preview. An unavailable endpoint returns a clear error without consuming credits.
Can I buy more credits?
Paid credit packs are coming soon. Checkout and automatic recharging are not enabled during the free preview. Your dashboard and API keys remain accessible when your credits run out.
Do credits expire?
Your preview credits stay on your account until you use them. There is no monthly subscription or automatic renewal.

Frequently asked questions

How does SocialQuery compare to Apify?
Apify is a general-purpose scraping platform — you write or buy actors and pay for the compute minutes they run on Apify's infrastructure. SocialQuery documents endpoints across 68 platforms spanning social, commerce, app stores, and review sites — each a single HTTP call, every response on one shared schema, billed per call (not per compute minute). Apify wins for scraping arbitrary sites you define yourself. SocialQuery wins when the data lives on a platform we already cover — no actor to build, no compute to tune.
How does SocialQuery compare to Bright Data?
Bright Data is broad data infrastructure for proxies, datasets, and scraping workflows. SocialQuery is focused on developer-ready public platform data: one API key, pre-built endpoints, normalized responses, and docs that map directly to every call.
Why not just build it yourself?
You can, and for one-off experiments that may be fine. In production, you also inherit parser drift, retries, rate limits, proxy behavior, endpoint docs, billing logic, and schema normalization across every platform you add.
How do credits work?
Credits are spent per successful API call, not per compute minute. Each endpoint lists its credit cost before you run it, and response metadata shows what was billed.
Are there rate limits?
Yes. Rate limits protect reliability for every customer and vary by endpoint family. Responses include standard status and retry metadata so your integration can back off cleanly.
Can I get the raw response?
Yes. The normalized response is the default, and endpoint docs call out where raw source fields are preserved or exposed for inspection.
How fresh is the data?
Freshness depends on the endpoint and upstream platform. Endpoint docs and response metadata expose cache behavior, source timing, and whether a request used live provider data.
What about AI agents?
Agents can read the OpenAPI schema and llms.txt to discover endpoints, parameters, credit costs, and request examples. API calls require a key from your dashboard.
